The Low Speed Agitator is designed for processing hard to handle products such as: high viscosity, thixotropic and varying density products. There are several blades designs available but typically recommended is the helical blade design for maximum product turnover. The heat transfer application can be organized into two broad categories. One category is that in which open impellers operate at some distance from the vessel. The second category is a close clearance impeller such as an anchor impeller or helical impeller. Reynolds offer both category mixer with unique features such as the 3-blade patent helical blade with high temperature withstanding scraping technologies. In addition, all Reynolds agitators are supplied with rotating baffles. Reynolds baffle technology helps to break swirling to improve high heat transfer coefficient that allow to reduce horsepower.   • ASME code stamped Vessel can be designed for full vacuum/100-psig service with 150-psig dimpled, Half- Pipe, conventional stainless-steel jacket is supplied around the vessel for heating/cooling (High pressure rating is available upon request)
  • Wetted parts are stainless steel polished to 120-grit for ease of cleaning (#4-8 Mirror finish is available upon request).
  • Lid can be fitted with temperature probe, cleaning spray nozzles, vacuum fittings, light and sight glass, flanges and multiple product inlet nozzles for delivery of liquid raw materials.
  • Minimum of 1.5 mechanical service factor on all gearing and bearings
  • Submerged top down product measuring temp-probe optimizes actual product temperature.
  • Available in Non-explosion proof and explosion Proof (TEFC 230/460, 3 PH, 50/60 Hz –Nema / IEC motor)
